Don't be afraid to step out of the crowd and do what you love, whether that be starring in a theatre production, doing research with faculty, or stepping up into a leadership role. You meet so many people that you form relationships with and improve your experience as a student while you are in school.

I would highly recommend filling out the Presidential Scholarship on your application. If your GPA and test scores are high enough, you could be eligible for a renewable amount of $10,000 a year! Also, take advantage of other opportunities given later in the year to apply. It will save you a lot of money in the long run. High Point is an expensive school, so help yourself (and your parents!) out!

Literally only go to this school if you don't care about night life whatsoever. You have to live on campus until you're senior year. The school does this to have complete control over the entire student body. People that throw parties get kicked out of where they live and separated from their roommates. This school only cares about image and freshmen.
