Around Town

There are endless fun things to do at High Point, but some of your options are going to catch some food at out University sports bar, play some games at our arcade or watch a movie in our Cinema. High Point is right in between Charlotte and Raleigh as well, so there are many things to do in both of those places.

Movies, bowling, arcade... there is always something to do

There are countless things around campus to do. Whether it is just spending time with friends or playing a sport, the campus is big enough and has plenty of facilities for everyone to do what they want.

There is so much to do on campus, there is a movie theater(on campus), an arcade, plays, the gym, starbucks, there's always a game going on, the pool and hot tub, and plenty of nearby shopping centers/malls.

The university sponsors a lot of events both on and off of campus. They take you to basketball games, Winter Light Festivals, and many more activities.

I enjoy hanging out at the arcade with my friends on the weekends. There is also a bowling alley close by that you can go to for cheap. Sometimes just renting a movie from the library and chilling in a friends dorm room is exciting.

Every Monday night there is movie shown in HPU's own theater. It's a free movie with free popcorn, candy, and drink! The campus shuttle also takes people to town for ice skating and movie premiers very often. Every Wednesday night is open mike night down by the free arcade. Yes, I did say free arcade! It has pool tables, Pac Man, Wii games in enclosed rooms with flat screens, Fruit Ninja, Nascar racing, and much more!

Hang out with friends!

For fun, you could always go to the arcade, or the movie theater, they show movies almost every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday plus you get free popcorn, candy, and drinks. If you want to go off campus, Greensboro is only about 20 minutes away and is filled with fun things to do.
