    1. Dont slack off. - it may seem hard but you will get used to it. 2. Dont get caught up in all the extra bs.- if you dont want to do something, dont do it. 3. Some of the faculty members are idiots. - its ok. we all know this. 4. Get as much money as you can out of this school.

    Stay focused, stay focused, stay focused. It's easy to get distracted by the four bars that are tangled in the streets besides Hofstra, but more than ever before, you have to keep your eyes set on where you want to go. Also, buy a car. Long Island isn't great with public transport.

    Make sure you take advantage of the career center. Get involved! Become a part of greek life, athletics or club sports to keep yourself busy and make some friends. Use professors' office hours they are there for a reason, to help you!
