    Live on campus to get the full experience. Get involved early on even if its just one club. Attend activities and on campus shows.

    Get involved with clubs right away, they are a great way to meet friends. Try to get to know your RA; they can be either your worst nightmare or best friends. Going out on the weekend isn't the only thing there is to do, campus has plenty to do at night so take advantage of all the free activities.

    Really try and get outside scholarships and what not. Hofstra is an expensive school and they do give some aid but it's not necessarily a lot. Also, this school is great for anyone interested in Communications.
