» Read MoreYou are only a 30min train ride to NYC. Plus if you want to go out on the weekends, there are always frat parties and bars open. If that's not your style there is a bowling alley, movie theater and laser tag pretty close by. You should never be bored with how much goes on on campus.

» Read MoreFor fun there is the new gym to work out in that is equipped with the best and newest eqipment. There are plenty of fields to go in to play frisbee or have a catch. There is always something going on somewhere around campus because there are over 100 clubs and there is also an option to start your own club if you want to. One of the popular clubs is Hofstra vs. Zombies which is pretty much tag with nerf guns. There is karaoke every Friday and band performances on Saturdays. If you want to leave campus the city is only 30-40 minutes away via train or car whatever you prefer. There is also a mall nearby so shop until you drop.

There is a museum on campus where students learn about different art. The library and computer lab is open to students looking for somewhere to study quietly. Additionally, there is student employment for the students looking to work.
