    Tips for prospective students

Document Document Document!! Make sure you get everything in writing and have plenty of copies on hand.

    Bang for the buck

Financial aid is a hassle. There are no finanical aid options other than loans for graduate students. The power went out in the dorms during finals week, and had been running off generators for a few months after. Most of the furniture and carpet in the dorms are from over 20 years ago. I have heard this from alumni who visit and have found their initials on replaced furniture.

    Am enjoying being here

Most of the students and faculty are friendly and helpful minus a few of the administrative staff.

    Am learning a lot

I am learning a lot, however don't waste your money on books because half of them don't get used in the classroom.

    Campus Safety

The school is barricaded by a gate with security guards. With a recent gun scare in the past two months the school has increased their security, which has made me feel safer.

    Greek Life

There unfortunately aren't any sororities at Holy Names.

    Clubs and Activities

There are many clubs available to students at HNU, ones that give students the ability to make new friends and run many community events.

    Food and Dining
