What you learn here depends on what professor you have. There are some extravagant and amazing educators in this facility. For example a sociology class I had taken last semester was the best the teacher was so laid back but learned so much the things i learned in that class stuck with me. While others are more towards lectures and other such structured classes but in general you learn quite a bit for a community college.

    Holyoke Community College is great for students that do not know what they would like to do. The career center really helped me to discover what I am interested in and what I have strengths in. Since HCC is so diverse it really developes your skills in thinking from many perspectives.

    HCC is entirely what the individual makes of it. It has a mix of entertainment and scholastics. It offers an abundance of resources to fit its diverse students' needs.

    Holyoke Community College is a great way to being someones education. As a two year college they are invested in their students and push them to succeed. They give students to tools to continue on to four year colleges.

    In my now 3 year attendance at Holyoke Community college, I have felt both supported and welcomed. For a community college they have a very engaged staff always ready to help a student who wants to go above and beyond the classroom. HCC is a campus for student's like me who needed a good first step down the road to success.

    Holyoke Community College offers a great education at an affordable price. The educators there are world class and you cannot beat the diversity of the student body. As a non-traditional student, the advising services were there every step of the way to support me at times when I became overwhelmed.
