Hope is a great school, so don't expect to skate through classes without actually trying, because it probably wont work. Also take up any chances to meet with profs during office hours!

Keep in touch with others! Hope is very well organized in the fact that they keep in contact with any student that shows interest in the college. Everyone at Hope is very accepting; especially the Phelps Scholars Program (PSP).

Sleep is your friend. Never overload yourself but don't be afraid to sign up for classes because of what your peers say. Keep an open mind about everything, and don't shove people or opportunities out the door because you might miss out on experiences you will cherish for a life time. Attend Chapel! It's a great way to meet people and grow in your faith. Try something new, like eating something you can't pronounce, or joining an intramural team.
