The Horry-Georgetown Technical Grand Strand campus is located near Market Commons. There is a 1-mile jogging path around a beautiful lake that has health stations you can make use of. Market Commons is also filled with outlet style shopping, unique restaurants, bars, movie theater, and the best Barnes and Nobles in town. There is plenty to do!

Well, we are in the Myrtle Beach area so there are tons of things to do. The beach of course, Broadway at the Beach, which is like an outdoor mall/attractions for the whole family or just you and your friends. There's also TONS of places to eat along the beach, off the beach, on the main highway, 501, pretty much anywhere you go there's food down here.

I take interest in watching various types of movies ranging from Chinese martial arts to inspirational African American movies. I believe that knowledge is power and diversity is strength, and through movies a person can gain knowledge about the world and cultures around them. As well as making them more aware of the diversities of people surrounding them. Horry Geogetown Technical College instructors have helped me to realize the importance of being globally aware.
