This campus is not big but it has a very diverse friendly group of students. there are many opportunities to get involved. Commuters are involved as much as the people on campus.

HBU is my home. From over a year ago when I got married I moved here and have stayed for the whole time. I enjoy the atmosphere and location. It's a great home away from home whenever that will be after college. I love it.

Although it is a small campus, there is a lot you can do off campus near downtown Houston. The smaller size gives it a more friendly air, and the dorms are pretty good. Most people complain about the food, just because it is cafeteria food, but I think it's pretty good. I enjoy how we try to do events, but they need to be more often and involve more better choices, but that's probably because everyone is strapped for cash. The residents usually leave the campus too often, or stay in their rooms too often, that's the only things that make it boring. Studying for big events is fun because everyone gets together and we throw parties.
