Go check out some of the university publications such as The Collegian and The City Online. Also I suggest you take a look at the Honor's College, which is a unique way HBU offers to complete your GE requirements.

Although it may not be too well known as some other colleges, it as an amazing experience to get to know others a lot better, and because it gives a chance to communicate with the professors, I would say to not miss out on the opportunity. To actually get a feel of the college, one must consider living on campus. I'm a commuter, but the campus life will truly share the experience of HBU.
