There are a couple food options here on campus. There is the Baugh Cafeteria, Tilas (a mexican food joint), Java City (a coffee shop), Husky Express (a snack station), and the POD (a late night food option). The cafeteria will get you the most for your money, but many people prefer the other food options for quality and taste.

I didn't have a chance to eat the food, but from listening to students I learned that the food is ok, but slowly increasing in quality. Basically, the food is edible but won't be winning any awards yet.

The baugh and Tila's serve good food. I prefer the meal equivalency because I do work a lot during the lunch period. Tila's serves mexican food. The Baugh serves buffett style food everyday. But it is good. Good variety!

The food at HBU isn't the best. The cafeteria is called the Baugh center. It offers comfort food (things like meatloaf, mashed potatoes, ect.), sandwiches with all the condiments, soups, a salad bar, burgers, fried rice, pastas, and other salads. The food generally contains a lot of sodium and seasonings. If you want to eat healthy, it's a bit of a challenge but certainly doable.

The Baugh Center's buffet has had issues in the past concerning health code violations and while the situation is being addressed, in its current state, it probably should not be the first choice in eating on campus. Tila's Cafe is a restaurant on campus offering mostly Mexican food (nachos, burritos, tacos) and is open only from 11 AM - 2 PM. The Baugh Center serves breakfast in the morning from 7 AM to 10 PM, Lunch from 11 AM - 2:30 PM, and dinner from 5-8:30 PM. The other options on campus are usually open from the morning to day such as Java City which is like a Starbucks as well as Husky Express which serves mostly sandwiches and soda. One can use a declining balance if they have a meal plan to pay for items that are not included in a meal plan and this extends to a local Papa Johns as well.

The food and dining of HBU is pretty good. I wish we had more variety in food choices though. Other than the lack of choices I do like the food that they provide.

Greek life here is amazing. I am in Sigma Phi lambda. It is the Christian sorority on campus. Great Girls!! There is also AXO. Phi Mu, AKA and also Sigma lambda Gamma. They are also great girls. The fraternities are good as well. There is KA, Beta Upsilon Chi, and Phi Kappa Psi. My greatest recommendation to anyone who is considering greek life is to do your research before you choose to commit to one!
