Always research what you will need to do to enroll in a class or program! Talk to the counselor's they are there to help you. Always go to class prepared and make connections with classmates, you might end up pursing the same degree.

Don't be shy! If you need help then SPEAK UP and let the teacher know. Also, don't slack off just because this isn't a four-year university. This is only a community college but be serious about your academic work so it's easier for you to succeed in the long run.

-Always keep priorities on top of the list. -It's okay to ask for help, even if you have to ask different people the same question, they are there to help. -Try to get advise by two different people. It is always good to hear a second opinion. If they both agree then go ahead! -Fix your schedule according to your routine. If you are not a morning person do not choose a 8am class or you will for sure fail that class! (they do take attendance there and in some classes its part of your grade).
