Howard Payne University is a Christian, coeducational, university of liberal arts and professional studies that is affiliated with the Baptist General Convention of Texas. In addition to having a great educational program, Howard Payne University has many extracurricular activities as well. Greek life, student government, intramural sports, Bible studies, concerts, fairs, and so many more things are available for students to enjoy. Class time is generally interactive, which is helpful in retaining student focus and ensures that each student has at least a certain level of understanding of the material being explored. The cafeteria food is generally delicious, and the staff is friendly. Chapel is engaging, and there is a wide variety of speakers who come and talk to the students.
