I suggest you rent your books, those you wont need in the future, instead of buying and then selling them in the bookstore, although it tell you its non-profitable it will give you a very small amount of money for your books when they cost you about the triple of the amount of money they will be paying you.Go online and sign the renting agreement, specially if you don't own your own debit card, otherwise you would have to bring your parent to school to create a rental agreement, which is a hassle. I also suggest you check the professors at ratemyprofessor.com, because it can be a challenge to find good professors, especially for mathematics, there are many bad math teachers, that you will not learn anything from, so make sure you check who your teacher is. If you don't like your professor, drop the class immediately as you only have about a week to do so, and if you register too late for a class, be aware that it would count as absences, you are only allowed two absences, so make the money worth! There are many great professors in this school, but there are more bad ones, so make sure you find them. Once you can register online, take advantage of it, there is nothing better that choosing your own schedule and your own teachers. Take advantage of the events, and the clubs, you get discounted movie tickets and Broadway shows, as well as trips.
