    Humboldt has a very welcoming attitude meaning there is little to no judgment no matter who you are or what you are wearing. The school is very helpful and has many resources that can help you not only for your classes but also for getting use to living on your own. The campus s really easy to get around once you get use to it which only takes a few days.

    One of the best CSU's in terms of having the best college experience. The people are some of the most laid back and friendly people I have met. The beach to the west and the forest in all other directions makes for a quiet little college town with lots of outdoor activities to do.

    I feel that Humboldt State is a very great school for anyone who is looking to have intimate relationships with both their peers and professors. There is such a positive vibe that is felt when attending school there because of the people. The main reason may be that it is unlike any flashy school you might expect from the California State University system.

    HSU is a wonderfully beautiful place full of helpful people. There are many resources available to help students succeed. Arcata is a college town and although it is somewhat far from other cities, it has everything you need.
