Huntington is a good school with great professors and they are good about giving you financial aid so you can meet your need. However, keep in mind that this is not a top-ranked University. If you take a degree from Huntington to an employer, it doesn't have that national reputation that large flagship Universities have. I'm not in one of the religious majors, but I know Huntington has some sort of system where they will refund you some of your expenses if you're income isn't at a certain level. I don't know exactly how it works or if that statement is entirely accurate, but there is something in that regard. If you want a degree to work in missions or ministry or anything in that area of study, Huntington is fine. I personally want a higher paying job and I am transferring in part because I don't think a Huntington degree is likely to warrant me a high income.

Huntington University's classes made me think deeper about my spirituality and personal beliefs. It really challenged my beliefs and who I was. People and classes that challenge your faith are nice...but they don't give you a degree. Sometimes it feels like the university loses focus on giving students a fair opportunity to get a degree. Sometimes it gets out of hand. That mixed with an awful food service, high price, and lack of a student-centered focus really takes down the quality of the school.
