Around Town

there is alot of things to do in this town and at the school they make sure you are happy here

There are many options for student activities. I have joined Skills USA and have enjoyed my time there.

Go out, watch movies, shop.

Each semester HCC has its annual Fall and Spring homecomings, these offer different activities each year to help you get involved, acquainted with others and have fun. There are also numerous dances held throughout the year, this is a great way to spend your free time and have a little fun with some new friends.

There are always activities on campus from Homecoming Week events such as the dance to Spring Fling week. Our sporting events are always a good time and we win lots of games.

Midnight ping pong. Wii dance parties in the lobbies. Around town you have the movie theater, and the zoo is a nice place to just chill and hang out.

The area has many attractions, including the science center, a salt mine, and many little shops for shopping. Hutchinson is just a short 40 minute drive to Wichita, which has more to offer like fine dining, the county zoo, and lots of shopping.

Applebees is a fun place to hang out. Wichita is pretty close and always has things going on. There is always something going on at Hutchinson through residence life.

The main campus has a variety of groups, sports and clubs to become involved in. Movie theaters, shopping and dining establishments are close or 30 min away to more choices and variety.

I live out of town, however Hutchinson is a nice town with good restaurants and sports events.
