HCC offers many scholarships to prospective students for many different majors; be sure to apply early though before all deadlines. Even without the help of a lot of scholarships, HCC is very inexpensive for the education, instructors, campus environment, and athletics the college offers.

Being a community college it is definitely less expensive, but that does not mean the quality is any less. Most of the faculty in our Science Department have PhD's and chose to work at a smaller school that they love rather than a large university. This department also was also granted equipment that most college students would not get to use until they were in a graduate program at a university. The college itself is not expensive when you factor in the quality of teaching and how beautiful our campus and buildings look.
