I am a second year at ISU and am a junior. Each semester in college is different but the first few seem to be pretty similar all across the board. I started college in August of 2008. ISU is a great school, the teachers care and there is always something going on for the new and current students. To start, go to orientation. I met people there that I am still in contact with. Difficult to get a degree in four years, because several required classes are only offered one semester per school year. Poor priorities, for example ISU paid for their dance teams' championship rings from tuition funds instead of making them fund-raise. Their policy on tenure is poor, tenured professors are hard to get rid of even if their teaching methods are obsolete and help no one.» Read More
