I have learned so much already from ISU. I came to school having no idea what I wanted to do and no direction towards any specific career path. Illinois State helped me figure this out quickly my freshman year through its variety of General Education classes. It really opened my eyes to all of the options you have once you begin your education here.

    A home away from home. Illinois State University has a small enough campus to feel comfortable in but still contains many options. A great choice.

    The school strives to make sure the students have everything they need, but I do not think spending millions and millions of dollars on a new football stadium was necessary. Some of the projects they are working on are not needed. However, the school is great and the professors are wonderful.

    Illinois State is a beautiful college that is a perfect size for students. It has a beautiful quad with classroom buildings surrounding it. Nothing is more than a fifteen minute walk, which is very convenient.

    Illinois State is an excellent school to go to, especially if you are planning on becoming a teacher. It is rated one of the top ten largest producers of teachers in the United States. If you are considering Teacher Education, it would be a great decision to get your degree from I.S.U. since so many of their graduates find jobs quickly.

    Illinois State University offers a lot of opportunities for students to get involved. The campus is also very friendly and gives students many events to interact with one another. ISU is also very friendly and diverse.

    ISU at first was scary after going to a local community college because it was so much bigger, but my first semester there was great. I love the teachers, and I have made so many friends. Everyone truly takes an interest in your education as long as you put in the effort.

    Illinois State University is an incredible school with a very relaxing environment. It is very easy to get involved and meet new people if you are new to the school. Illinois State also takes their education very seriously and the professors push you to your limits.
