Around Town

There is not too much to do for fun in town. Without a car, there is nothing to do besides for walking outdoors. If you have a car, you can drive to go bowling, to the movies, to the mall, etc.

Movies, go out to dinner, go to downtown Bloomington or Normal

There are plenty of things that the small campus offers in Bloomington, but also a large school life atmosphere 5 minutes down the road in Normal at Illinois State.

The large Greek life allows for many social opportunities and the large number of student organizations guarantee's that there will always be a fun event happening somewhere on campus.

The Hansen Student Center puts on activities every single weekend. Whether it's a band, entertainer, a movie night or an activity night for the entire school, there it always something to do. Bloomington has a TON of restaurants to eat at and the public transportation system gets you around on $1 so there are always places to explore.

Get involved in a variety of clubs and activities. Be sure to attend sports and art events.

Greek life is fantastic at Wesleyan. Many opportunities around campus for clubs, community service projects, etc.

There are tons of clubs and intramural sports to join and different exercise classes to attend.

Many activities are to be found off campus at the many stores, restaurants or seasonal festivals that take place in Bloomington-Normal. On campus there are often performances on Fridays and Saturday nights either put on by the extraordinary Performing Arts School or by performers brought in by IWU. Also, the many athletic teams are victorious in their events and so an exciting game is sure to be seen at some point during the weekend. Other than the previous two activities various events take place to ensure the students are constantly capable of finding new passions that create a growing and intriguing environment through social activities.

I go to many of the school's activites (some of which are concerts), club activities and go to near movie theaters.
