Financial Aid usually has a few tricks up their sleeves. They allow you to only get so much money and most times it's not all the money you need. They are very unclear with what different loans come with as far as how much interest you have to pay on a loan and when that interest starts to accumulate. They also don't inform you if and when a certain scholarship or grant is discontinued so if you got a certain grant the semester before and they discontinue that grant, you won't know anything about it until you receive the bill and then physically go ask about why you owe that much.
