The quality of the education you get here is really reliant on which specific classes you take. I've had some really challenging, forum-based classes where I felt like I learned a lot, including a lot more beyond just the curriculum. I believe some of these classes really helped me become more perceptive and aware in general, but then, on the other end of the spectrum, I've had classes that are just power points that you copy down every day.     Bloomington is such a thriving city. There is such diversity and so many opportunities that there is something for everyone. IU always has something new to offer you, but still has tried-and-true things people love.
