I love going to IUSB because of the small campus and class sizes. I love this because I don't get lost in the crowd, like many of my friends are experiencing at other colleges. Even though I don't live on campus, I have gained many friends because many of the students are in the same classes together. They also have a great (free!) work out center, The Student Activity Center that has pool tables, basketball courts, and a gym. This is a great place to hang out and meet new people. read full review

I would strongly suggest that prospective students come for a visit to the Univeristy. The Office of Admissions offers campus visits 4 days each week where you receive a guided tour of campus from a current student and have the chance to sit down with an admissions counselor one-on-one. There are also Showcase Days offered once each month where students can come for a visit and have the chance to speak with someone from the major they are interested in. Coming for a visit will help students to see all that IU South Bend has to offer. Whether you become a student at IU South Bend or another institution, get involved on campus and take advantage of any opportunities that come your way. They will make you a more well-rounded student and person, and will help you when it comes time to find a job or pursue another degree after graduation. read full review
