There is a game room on the bottom floor of the main building that is full of tv's, pool tables, and ping pong tables. Many groups meet in there for different activities and free time. The fitness center on campus is very nice, and offers every student a free way to get in shape if they so choose.

There are many events and activities held on campus but not many are well attended. It is not the a party school. However, there are many surrounding areas that do party.

The campus hosts many events, but are never full of students. If you are looking for something to do, head to Louisville a short drive from IUS, and there is always something going on!

IUS hosts plenty of events and clubs for people to participate in. We have sports, sororities and fraternities, and even a Gamers' Society! You can also hang out with your friends in the Commons, the library, or one of the two coffee shops on campus. Of course, there are an abundance of nearby places off-campus that are suitable for hanging out or doing homework. For example, the McDonald's just up the road from IUS has free wi-fi and plenty of seating. if you have some extra money, you can even grab a little snack while working on your schoolwork.

There are a bunch of activities like baseball, basketball, volleyball, etc. Sometimes kids make things up like playing Frisbee or flag football to do on campus or on the riverfront. The first week of school there are bands playing on campus and a bunch of other things to do to meet and greet people. Plus there is free stuff given out!
