Many dancers are held at The Grand for cheap. The Grand is a few miles from IUS (about a ten minute drive). Many clubs/sororities plan events such as community services, dances, parties, etc. Most of the time you do not have to be a member to attend such events. Personally, I enjoy taking walks around campus on warm days and taking pictures.

IUS has a gym and a basketball court for anyone who wants to use it between, after, or before classes. Also, the campus is beautiful, so it is also a great idea to just walk around campus and enjoy your surroundings. If working out or walking around campus isn't for you, IUS also offers coffee shops, a huge library, a small art gallery, and a game room!

There is plenty to do for fun. Louisville, KY is less than 25 min away, and there are plenty of bars, clubs, malls, parks, and many other things that you can do.

IUS throws parties and lodge events all the time. Unfortunately they are all really dull and not many attend them. Most people would rather attend a greek party thrown by the fraternity TKE- which are fun, but not free. It is better to make some good friends, join an organization, and make your own fun.

There is a game room on the bottom floor of the main building that is full of tv's, pool tables, and ping pong tables. Many groups meet in there for different activities and free time. The fitness center on campus is very nice, and offers every student a free way to get in shape if they so choose.
