    There are multiple places that a person can go to so they can get something to eat. The dining area is very nice and has a great view of the campus. The cooks are friendly and will fix your food exactly the way you tell them to.

    There is a food court located in the basement of the University Center. The food is overpriced and prepackaged. However, you are only minutes away from downtown Louisville which has plenty of food options.

    How good the food at IUS really depends on what you like. I personally like most of the things at the cafeteria, and the coffee shops also have good drink options for pretty much anyone. If none of that suits your tastes, then there are a good number of restaurants right in New Albany that you can go to. For example, there is a Taco Bell, a McDonald's, and an Arby's right up the road from campus, and a ton of other places, such as Jimmy John's, Graeter's, and Tumbleweed, just a few minutes away.

    Although I have yet to begin class here, I have heard wonderful things (from students and staff alike) about the food and dining. The dining area is very comfortable as well.

    The food is improving. There is not that big of a selection (pizza, 3 or 4 pre made sandwiches, 3 or 4 desserts, chips and snacks, salad bar, and a little place that makes something like 12-15 different sandwiches). They just reconstructed the whole area where all the food is hopefully it will be better this year in which I expect it to be.
