Categories Comments Great for these types of students Itasca Community College is a great school for students who want to be close to home, save money, and who want a personal environment. Also if you like friendly and personal staff, Itasca Community College is a good place to start.
Tips for prospective students Make sure you take the English and Math entry tests when you register. These tests are required to see if students are ready for college level classes. You will do fine. Apply for scholarships. Take a tour around Itasca Community College and find your classes. Ask questions; don't worry the teachers won't bite. Get your schedule from the Admissions Office and your books from the book store. You can save money by buying used books or by going to chegg. com. Chegg is a book rental service, which saves students a lot of money. Also get your picture taken for your school id. Last of all remember, to study hard, ask questions, and have fun. You can do it.
Bang for the buck Itasca Community College is a fairly cheap school to attend. It is around $4,000. Scholarships are available, which can help cover the cost.
Am enjoying being here Itasca Community College is a good place to start. I enjoy Itasca Community College because it is a small and friendly campus. Teachers and students are friendly. It is in a fairly small town, but has stores so you can get your midnight study snacks.
Am learning a lot It is a good college. Teachers at Itasca Community College are friendly, helpful, and willing to answer questions inside and outside of class. Class sizes are small and most classes are interactive. I am learning new things and getting by generals done.

Categories Comments Great for these types of students Outdoorsmen (and women!) if you like the 'up north' feeling its definitely worth checking out!
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus We have a farm set to the north side of our campus!
Bang for the buck Its not ridiculously overpriced, and you meet so many great people and wonderful teachers.
What to do for fun Hiking, fishing, sports, swimming, cliff jumping, and more. As long as you have some sort of will to do something, you'll have no problem finding things to do around the campus, and Grand Rapids.
Food and Dining The dining halls lunches at ten times better than the high school cooked lunches.
Academic Rigor If you put the effort in, you'll do well.
Tips for prospective students Focus on your studies, and don't give in to the temptation of procrastination.
In three sentences I would rate Itasca at a 8/10. It's for the outdoorsey kind, set far enough away from big cities to enjoy the simpler life. It has everything you need, without the hassle of a large scale university.
