I am a mom with a busy schedule with my 9 year old son. Football in the fall and other school activities though the school year.

Possibly join clubs.

I for fun love to play word games such as, scrabble and words with friends.

Get involved in student activities.

Many events, and preferred partner events, such as Latino Festivals etc.

Many campus activities and clubs to join.

Ivy tech has many Extracurricular activities to keep students involved with their school. Every week you can find new posters for cal outs of activities.

They have a library next to the campus in Lafayette,IN. Students hang out there. Also There is a mall about 1/2 mile up the road from campus.

There isn't much in Lafayette, but Indianapolis and Chicago are one and two hours' drive away, respectively. West Lafayette has a decent nightlife, as well.

You will be living at home, so the sky is the limit.
