    Do your research! Figure out what your cost of attendance will be and make sure that you can afford it. Don't max out your loans. Apply for scholarships. Study hard! You don't want to repeat classes.

    Always register for your classes early, because they do tend to run out of space. Also, don't ever think you'll be ok if you just don't go to class this one time. Missing class does matter and you will miss out on a lot.

    Always make sure to keep up on your homework. In some classes, your grade is based solely on tests. If you do not test well or don't keep up on your studies, you won't be able to keep up your grades in those classes.
