Around Town

Drive around the city of Providence.

The school has dances, movies night, bowling and a gym. We have a volleyball and baskeball team.

Providence is the most convenient location to go to school in for many different reasons. When the weather is nice, Rhode Island beaches are just a short car or RIPTA ride away. The night life is abundant as all the bars and clubs are 18+. Boston is also easily accessible by the train station which is just across the street from The Cove.

In the fall and spring, the majority of the students are on the green space on Gaebe Commons and Harborside. The new athletic fields are a hit too! Food Truck Thursday is always a fun social hang out spot!

In downtown, we have the whole city in Rhode Island. So if you like to eat we have plenty of restaurants, clubs, water fire, the mall and so much more.

hang out with friends, explore providence and it's great places either during the day or the night.

BE CAREFUL. If you do decide to go out, go with a group of friends. The surrounding area is very bad.

UIB hosts plenty of events and awesome free movies thursday nights.
