Try to do well in highschool now, because they give out HUGE scholarships and campus awards to people that got good HS grades. I didn't even go to a vocational school in HS, and I'm doing baking & pastry, and they gave me almost 16K for the four years, plus 10K just for this year. I can't stress this enough.

Johnson & Wales is located in a small city which is great for those from more suburban or rural areas to get adjusted into city life. However, this college is only best for culinary or hospitality as their other programs are lackluster and sometimes, unaccredited. This school is perfect for those students who want an open and accepting environment in a small city.

Johnson and Wales has amazing opportunites that any incoming freshmen/transfer would like to accomplish. Both Harborside and Downcity Campuses are beautiful making it home away from home. Everyone here is willing to help each other which is great.

Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island is a beautiful and welcoming city. It is a busy environment but very quite and much cleaner air. I like to think of the Providence campus as a Mini New York City, with lots of shops, food, and culture; the mall is only a 5 minute walk.

Johnson & Wales is a small school whose largest major is culinary arts. The lab professors have a grading rubric, but it seems like the grade by giving you what they feel like you deserve.

For a so-called prestigious school it sure has a crap load of thieves. On my first lab seven girls lost items from their tool kits first day and during my 9th lab I forgot my binder one night and it was never found. I lost my expensive livescribe pen and all my notes including one my very expensive text books. I never got them back and was out a little over $1000 in items.

Johnson and Wales have many great opportunities within the major I want to study. The school also have great administration, financial planners, and housing representatives that are able to get back to within a day or two. I really enjoy the fast communication I have with the college.

I enjoy attending Johnson & Wales and believe it was a perfect choice for me. I am from a small town so living in Providence wasn't that crazy of a transition for me even though this city does offer a lot of fun activities. I love the professors here because they really get to know their students and try to actually help everyone.

Johnson & Wales has accepted me in to the Culinary Arts program. I have not been able to visit the campus yet, but will this summer. All of the staff has been very supportive of my efforts to apply. I am very excited to be able to learn from those that been in the industry.
