    As a general rule, the earlier you register the better. You are here to transfer and take general ed courses, so the registration is quite formulaic. If transferring, this means that the majority of the school's population are in the same program as you, therefore vying for the same courses. I have never had a problem acquiring a class, but the compatibility of your schedule or intended course combination for a particular semester could be thwarted.

    Know what you want to take, and have a good idea of the classes that you need to take. Don't always listen to the suggestions the staff give you, because some of them contradict the other staff members.
