There is a rec center and available seating to sit with your friends to do a study group or to chat over coffee. There is also a very nice library to go online and there is a bookstore as well. There is also extracurricular activities you could be involved in.

Joliet Junior College has a truly massive selection of clubs and student programs. Even if you aren't part of a club, you'll likely benefit from their work. There are monthly student appreciation days, where anything from free movie screenings and popcorn, to character drawings and massages have happened. As far as outside activities, the school is located near a couple of main streets in Joliet, which offers moderate entertainment.

Welcome week is definately one the best things I have experienced. They gave free charicatures, a chance to build a bear, and they do a raffle. I won a free Ipod! :)
