This is a GREAT place to get started if you are planning to go on to a four year college or university. It's a wonderful learning environment! Also, JJC has well respected Associate of Applied Science programs that allow you to streamline into a career (Nursing, Vet Tech, Phlebotomy, etc...)!! That's what I'm doing.

After going to a university and then a community college that I hated, JJC is a breath of fresh air. Beautiful campus, eco-friendly, and the teachers know what they are talking about.

You get less than what you pay for. A very black and white experience from semester to semester. An affordable way to earn your Associate's degree.

Joliet Junior College is very diverse. The staff at JJC overall would be a 2.5/3 rating, some professors are awesome, others are so bad we're not sure how they are teaching at the college level, or at all. Even though this is a junior college, there are real course work and you should apply yourself seriously.

JJC is helpful when it comes to office admissions and guidance. Half of the teachers overcompensate for being at a junior college instead of a university. The other teachers show an interest in you as a student.

If one wanted to continue their education right out of high school or wanted to get that one credit they didn't receive to graduate 20 years ago, this community college is the one of the best places to go. With so many programs and locations, students are able to complete their dreams. The teachers and counselors make transferring out to a bigger college or completing a degree easier.

Joliet Junior College is a mediocre campus with a childish student body. The staff there can be rude but there are professors who will stick their neck out for you. The prices are cheap however so the value is well worth attending.

It is a good school talking price. There is no school spirt, but the teachers are good. Overall a good school for the price.

Joliet Junior College is one of the best colleges I have attended. In my opinion I would say this school is rated a 5 out of 5, and the reason for this is because this school has so much opportunity to offer to students and the community. Joliet Junior College should be rated as the best college in Illinois so far, and this college is affordable for every student.
