  • “As Kalamazoo Valley is a community college, there are no dorms. I decided to move into a near-by apartment complex devoted to both WMU and KVCC students.…”

The cafeteria is always full of students, whether it's to quick grab a bite to eat or just to form group studies. The cafe is generally a mutual meeting ground for students to connect with others.

The food here is excellent. Whether it be fresh sushi or a slice of warm cheese pizza from Jet's, the cafeteria offers so much variety for such a great price; the cooks and cashiers are very friendly, too. They also have a separate area that includes a microwave and several vending machines that take both cash and certain credit cards. You can also purchase Subway-style sandwiches, hot/iced coffee, pretzels, and various snacks/junk food. Prices range anywhere from a few cents to seven dollars, plus tax.

There is a good selection of food; from freshly prepared burgers, pizza, gyros, to a good salad bar with lots of different choices to pick from. The menu changes everyday for their specials and the prices are not too terribly high either. They have a large selection of drinks as well from hot tea, different coffee selections, cooler pop/drinks.
