Try to find books cheaper or rent them online and bring your own food with you for meals; it will help your wallet in the long run.

You will get out of this school exactly what you put into it. Spend the first couple weeks getting to know the in's and outs of the school. Get involved in clubs and organizations, they have a lot to offer. Take advantage of the free tutorial services. If you're looking to transfer, work VERY closely with your other school when choosing what courses to take, because each one costs you a lot of money and time. Have fun, you can really learn to love this place if you try.
