Aggieville is right next to campus and it has bars, ice cream, Bluestem Bistro, and The Varsity Truck. It can also be fun to see a movie or leave town and go to Tuttle or Pot 2 (both are lakes nearby).

Manhattan, Kansas is a beautiful town with mostly agreeable weather. Get out and barbecue, play whatever sport your heart desires, attend football games at Bill Snyder Family Stadium, truly the options are endless. Aggieville provides an experience to see for yourself, with numerous restaurants and bars all bunched together in a cluster of college mayhem.

The student union has cheap movies on the weekends, and pool, bowling, darts, and an arcade open every day. There is also fun to be had partying in Aggieville. While you are there make sure to go to a couple of Football and Basketball games. Sitting in the student section is a ton of fun.

depends on your location if you are going to stay in one of the main four residence halls there is always some kind of program or resident life coordinator activity happening. There is the REC which is free for all enrolled students

Manhattan has lots of hills and outdoor space like the Konza Prarie to go for bike rides and hikes or just to enjoy the open air. As you get into your later years at KSU, Aggieville is a strip of local restaurants and bars that offer a fun place to hang out on the weekends and offer many food and drink specials throughout the week. K-State is known for our nearly undefeated football team and our strong basketball team. When it gets snowy it is fun to borrow dining center trays and us them as sleds. There is plenty of shopping and restaurants, and it is a quick drive to many other places in Kansas for a weekend getaway.
