Saturday morning or Tuesday evening the campus parking lot is host to the farmers market. It is very popular with tourists so can get crowded. Some vendors come one a month so the variety of vendors may change somewhat each week. Come hungry, there is lots to eat.

Your surrounded by beaches and great outdoor things to do. The mall is close by but not walking distance. I like to jog around diamond head for my workout. Waikiki is down the street.

There is plenty to do for fun. KCC is located near several beaches. There is a large open field for sports. There are movie nights and activities hosted in the library that make attending this school a delight.

It's a large and beautiful campus, you could explore the many gardens (mostly of cacti) and lay on the Great Lawn to study or sleep if you want. There's a library, a bookstore, and a lounging area in one of the entrance buildings for students to relax in.

My friends and I would rent a study room in the library and you can have the room for 3 hours. The things we do in there are mostly watch movies, talk really loud and sometimes draw on the white board.

Diamond Head is right around the corner so hiking is readily available. There are 2 major malls nearby, Ala Moana and Kahala Mall for some shopping. Really the ocean is of walking distance so a quick surf session or snorkeling session or even fishing is possible before class... for stress relief, perhaps.

For fun, you can join a club and host or hold events on campus. Joining a club is a great opportunity to meet new exciting people, go on trips, try new things. Clubs are very fun.
