Party, party, party. And the school clubs are so much fun. They're mainly school sponsored so we go out of state for trips and do all sorts of fun things for free. There is never an hour of the day or weekend you're not busy if you don't want to be.

UM what can I say. Fraternities are the main source of fun if you are a social creature like myself. But if you're are a little more reserved and nerdy (Like most of the school), there are sooo many clubs you can become involved with. During the warm months, students are usually chilling by the bulldog or walking around campus. Student government actually does a really good job at hosting events, and there always seems to be a lot of free food :)

Flint is not the ideal place to have a school but the area around campus the pretty safe, and as long as you're smart about what you do you should be fine. That doesn't mean you should go walk around at 2 in the morning. We have a multitude of clubs and activities for students along with a pretty active Greek life community. We don't have any sports teams but we do have intramural sports that get competitive. Downtown Flint has been making great strides and there are many restaurants down town. The Flint institute of Art offers student priced tickets to concerts and other actives. We're close enough to Ann Arbor and Lansing that it's pretty easy to go visit those campuses for a weekend, and the mall isn't too far away. You can always find someone to go do something with and we're never short on having fun.

Greek life makes up the majority of the fun events. If you can, it is not too dificult to organize official events (such as videogame tournaments, sports events, etc.) as long as you can people to paticipate. Often, you are better off hanging out with your friends then finding events for fun.

Unfortunately being in Flint, there is virtually nothing to do. Don't come here looking for a college town, I also learned that the hard way.

Spend time with friends and go to fraternities, sororities, or the mall or movies. It is a little bit more difficult in Flint, because, well, it's Flint. Just be careful.

While living on dorm, the hall plans many events throughout the year. They often have barbeque's and other club events around campus. There are intramural sports, fields and tracks, a gym and fitness center, as well as some fraternities and sororities near and away from Kettering. Students can also visit downtown Flint and explore many of the different shops and restaurants in the city.
