Tuition, Cost & Aid

Affordability and Cost

Average Net Price Average net price for full-time, first-time degree/certificate-seeking undergraduates paying the in-state or in-district tuition rate who were awarded grant or scholarship aid from federal, state or local governments, or the institution. Other sources of grant aid are excluded. Aid awarded anytime during the full aid year is included.

Average net price is generated by subtracting the average amount of federal, state or local government, or institutional grant and scholarship aid from the total cost of attendance. Total cost of attendance is the sum of published tuition and required fees (lower of in-district or in-state), books and supplies and the weighted average room and board and other expenses.

Out-of-State Tuition Out-of-state tuition is the tuition charged by institutions to those students who do not meet the state's or institution's residency requirements. Additional Costs
Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. In this case the # of students with no corresponding dollar amount will be excluded from the denominator.

What Students Are Saying

King is definitely worth the price. We get free laptops and free maintenance on them. At king we also have a wide selection of food and a nice facility to dine in. The campus also has a new gym that includes a racquetball court, weight room, training room, game room, cardio room, and lounging areas.

For all its virtues, King College is an expensive school to attend for both students within the state and outside of the state. It does, however, provide extensive financial aid to students and offers staff who make it a priority to help students in need of financial assistance.
A. from TN
Money is tight, especially with the economy. The tuition keeps going up which doesn't help students who do not have money to spend on college. Definitely look into financial aid. There are many resources available to help you through the money troubles of paying for college.
Kayla from Triangle, VA
The only downside of attending a private school like King is the price tag that comes with it. However, there are several scholarship opportunities that help offset the cost, and in my opinion, the education and experiences this school offers are well worth the cost.
Danielle from Marion, VA
If one is looking for a beautiful, peaceful, christian atmosphere to learn and excel, King College is the place to be.
Andre from Bristol, VA
King is an excellent value considering the quality of education that you are getting.
