No. Knox College has failed to provide reasonable financial aid support to their current students - especially to low income/first generation population at Knox. The administration is very standoffish to helping students achieve the most aid possible - and with tuition hikes, it is hard to continue to pay for a $50,000+ liberal arts school when the dorming situation includes mold, the environment is harmful/dangerous to some, and where the school's focus is on donations to build new buildings than ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of their current students. The current administration is geared towards creating more revenue and as a result, limiting the student experience. For the price sticker, the school is no longer worth the bang for the buck.

You are truly getting what you pay for at Knox. Although the sticker price is high, the admissions and financial aid team works with each student to make sure that cost is not a barrier in attending Knox. The faculty are top-notch and improvements are always happening around campus. Right now, for example, Alumni Hall is being completely renovated and will allow more space for offices and administrative departments.

Bang for the buck - literally - is the financial aid. The buck is very little because Knox does a great amount of financial helping.

The education at Knox is invaluable to students, whether they go on to more schooling or real life jobs. It prepares students for their futures, and I think it is worth the price you pay. The price tag might seem hefty, but most students receive financial aid, and this makes it more manageable.

Knox is a very expensive school, closely reaching the $50,000 per year tuition mark. Despite this, the college does its best to help students to attend without worrying about the cost of the school, especially if you are a student with higher need. (I can honestly tell you that personally. The financial aid package was the deciding factor for me when I chose Knox.)
