However, if you are looking for lively student life or a larger campus, this is definitely not the school for you. Also, it is easy to outgrow this campus after the first two years as a result of its lack of student life, but you will always feel comfortable.
» Read MoreBe sure to visit the school before deciding to attend. There are tons of ways to get involved on campus so if you like to stay busy outside of class this is the place to go. That's not to say that you'll necessarily have a lot of free time outside of class because homework can be quite demanding depending on the class. This college is great for students who aren't absolutely sure yet what they want to pursue- lots of variety in class choices.
» Read MoreAt Lake Forest the professors focus a lot on writing and there are a lot of papers, even in the natural sciences. Because there is such a diverse student body there are plenty of clubs for students to get involved with and plenty of opportunities for student to take on leadership positions in these organizations as well. For incoming athletes, we have varsity, club and intramural sports depending on the amount of time and effort that you are willing to put in. Lastly, one of the nicest things about Lake Forest is that all of the professors are required to have office hours where students can come and discuss any issues that they are having in or out of class.
