For a College freshmen I feel that Lake Forest College is ideal. You will feel very comfortable, and make friends quickly because of the size of the campus and student body. However, if you are looking for lively student life or a larger campus, this is definitely not the school for you. Also, it is easy to outgrow this campus after the first two years as a result of its lack of student life, but you will always feel comfortable.

Be sure to visit the school before deciding to attend. There are tons of ways to get involved on campus so if you like to stay busy outside of class this is the place to go. That's not to say that you'll necessarily have a lot of free time outside of class because homework can be quite demanding depending on the class. This college is great for students who aren't absolutely sure yet what they want to pursue- lots of variety in class choices.
