Schedule your own classes if your looking to transfer afterwords. The academic counselors did a bad job and scheduled me and my friends classes that don't transfer anywhere or to very little university's.

Talk to a counselor or a program director if you are considering a particular program. They are most helpful and courteous.

LMC may not be taken seriously at times, but take your grades seriously. This is a very good time to work on your GPA and raise it up to prepare for the University you plan on graduating from.

Check to see what resources are available to you. There are many great program that help become successful in your courses. If possible join Student Support Services, they'll provide you with tutoring if you need it, they hold workshop geared towards helping you become: a better test taker, note taker, a better writer, and any other skill you may need to be the best student you can be.
