Categories Comments Food and Dining They serve lunch for students and teachers. Food is freshly made. I've seen it and tried it. It is wonderful!
Academic Rigor Everyone that has graduated from there, that I've known, has a very well paying job and was able to get a job right before or after graduating.
Tips for prospective students Don't hesitate. Campus is nice, clean, and everyone there is willing to help.
In three sentences I think it is a wonderful place to start your career off in such a short amount of time. Tuition is cheap and affordable. A lot of students I know have graduated and is working on jobs based on their degree.

Tips for prospective students Study
In three sentences Needs Improving in some area of study. Needs to accommodate students with more classes in the Fall that are only offered in the Spring and vis a versa. Not a bad Campus.

Categories Comments Tips for prospective students Its a good starter school to get your generals out of the way. Most of the generals will transfer to other schools and its cheaper here.

Categories Comments Campus Safety University police is very diligent to canvas the parking areas all of the time, if there is no visible parking tag you are ticketed, and license plates are ran on all students.
Great for these types of students Great for students coming out of small high schools or adult students returning to further some part of their educations.
Bang for the buck Tuition is reasonable compared to the Universities or state colleges in area.
What to do for fun Campus life is normally off campus, but there is free access to all of the University activities.
Food and Dining concession area could be better, all vending machines no real food.
Dorm Life dorm life does not apply here, but there is a campus apartment complex that is just down the street from campus.
Academic Rigor classes are small enough so first time students aren't just guppies in a huge ocean of students
Tips for prospective students be organized when registering
In three sentences overall a good school with good instructors, and staff. Overall a hometown school feeling, if coming from a small high school a great place to start college life.

In three sentences On a scale of 1-10 , the rating of Lamar Institute Of Technology is a 10 . Class sizes are Normal Size , which means more hands on. Amazing!

Categories Comments Campus Safety The safety of the school is slightly in a not so great neighborhood but the school is working on extra security for all students.
Clubs and Activities There are a variety of societies and associations that deal with specific majors.
Great for these types of students Great for on hand learners.
Bang for the buck The school is definitely cheaper than a lot of the schools. Also you are paying for recreational things on a sister school.
What to do for fun There isn't very much to do but go off campus.
Food and Dining There is an on campus restaurant that has a lot of different foods.
Dorm Life There is no dorm life.
Academic Rigor Definitely a decent school when dealing with all of the staff.
Tips for prospective students Be prepared to learn, the classes are straight to the point.
In three sentences Lamar Institute of Technology is a great school to go to if you like hands on experience. The school has a variety of instructors that help in many different ways. Overall, the school is striving to meet the needs of the students.

Categories Comments Clubs and Activities SGA is big on this campus.
Great for these types of students Those looking to work in local refineries and hospitals or clinics.
Bang for the buck Not expensive at all and you get a degree that will help you in the future.
What to do for fun I usually go across the street to L.U. and play pool or workout at the Rec or you can go hang out at the Setzer Center.
Tips for prospective students Study! Study! Study! Don't ever slack off and procrastinate. Get everything done and you will be out of there in no time.
In three sentences It is very hands on and teachers are great. You learn so much in the 2 years attending here. You actually learn whats out there in the real world jobs.
