Around Town

There's not much around Lander but they organize many events to keep you busy!

There are lots of activities that go on at Lander University. They have lots of comedy shows, game shows, field days, talent shows, poetry nights, step shows, parties, massages, etc.

There are a lot of on campus things going on put on by the school but there are a lot of parties.

Well we have tons of events like music shows, plays and basketball games. We also have zumba classes, yoga and spin classes. We just got this new gym and it is awesome. But when I'm not on campus I'm mostly reading, watching tv or playing games for fun.

There are so many activities to participate in at Lander. The activities director is a great planner for the events that take place on campus. There is intramural sports to sign up for There are plays to attend to on some nights along with movie nights an also game nights. There is never a dull night at Lander.

Greenwood doesn't have much to go and do, there is a bowling alley and putt putt course, several stores and almost every restaurant imaginable. On campus there is usually at least one activity offered to students every week, as well as a gym and 3 basketball courts.

When we aren't in class or studying, my friends and I play video games or get together and play our instruments.

Lander as many on campus social events going on all the time. Whether you are into theater, music or athletics, there is always something going on to see. Also, they have many off campus activities to attend. There are a few cities outside of Lander that are alsy great to go to for the weekend for nightlife.

No lie, there isnt squat to do on campus. The weekends are crucial. Everyone goes home on the weekends and its madd boring. FUN is what YOU make it.

The campus has many different activities during the week. They have concerts, one time they had a contest called Lander's Got Talent. You can attend the art gallery or even sing in the choir.
