The food on campus is really diverse and if you have a comment about something they really try to change and they really listen. There is also a lot of restaurants and fast food places around campus. There's always a diversity.

I don't eat in the cafe. However we do have a Bearcat Den. They sell burgers and fries so that's where I eat sometimes. Others times I cook in my kitchen in my dorm.

Meal plans are a big part of living on campus. Having a meal plan is one of the best things to have. Lander has a big cafeteria with all you can eat buffet. There is always a great variety of food. Adding on to the cafe there are additional restaurants on campus that students can use cash or bearcat buck to enjoy a nice meal.

The dining hall food isn't the best, however they do offer salads and sandwiches for lunch and dinner everyday. They have a wide selection of baked goods at lunch and supper as well as ice cream all the time.

I was on the food plan for a few years at Lander. During this time, I realized I had some food allergies that I was not aware of. The staff there were great and ordered special diet food for me and always asked if I was getting the special food that I needed. They treat you like family there and get to know you. The food is really good also and they have a great variety.

I really wouldn't know what the Greek Life is like because I'm not apart of one, but from what I've seen, they volunteer and do a lot of community service. They have fun and give back.
