When students would like to have fun near campus without driving anywhere, they can walk down to Washington Square or the Capital for a visit. There are great places to eat in Washington Square but some of the options are more pricey than what college students typically like to pay. There is also a park across the street from the campus that students can visit.

If you find yourself on campus, chances are you won't be looking for something to do. Time on campus is very costly in parking but there are some parks nearby and downtown campus has the Zen Pond. I go to LCC's main campus and there aren't really fun activities at this school, which is ok with me. During the warmer seasons, the theater troupe sometimes performs outside while students are walking from one building to another.
