Don't let the sticker price scare you. Lawrence offers a ton of financial aid and you most likely can make it affordable.

Work very hard in high school to get good grades and test scores, because that can translate into a good scholarship. I had a GPA of 3.44 and an ACT score of 26 and didn't receive any scholarship at all, so they really want perfection. That was the deciding factor was that I can't afford it without a scholarship. Also, visit campus. That is what made me fall in love with it!

If you want to be in the conservatory, give a good audition. Come and visit for a weekend so you know what to expect. Lawrence is hard to get to know if you've never been here and taken it all in.
