Don't be afraid to ask for help in any of the application process, financial aid, etc. The staff is understanding that this is scary and willing to help.

Stay overnight at the college to get a sense of what it is like. Visit more than once and make sure you visit on a day when there is not much going on so you can get a chance to meet some of the staff and some of the students that attend the college. Try to make an acquaintance that you can keep in touch with so if you decide to choose that school you can have a person you already know to talk with. Meet with the business office to see about getting an additional scholarship, they usually want to help you out, so they will negotiate and try their best to help you, don't be afraid to ask for financial aid if you need it! It will help you in the long run!

The academic field is very rigorous here so prepare to work for your grades. The professors are understanding of problems with transition and other emotional problems. Also this campus has many various activities so there is sure to be something to please everyone and if not then you can always get some friends together and start your own club.

Be diligent about parking your car where you're supposed to. Request a tutor before you think you really need one, in case, because classes are fast paced.
